The UK's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) offers an alerting service. If you subscribe, they will send you emails (or RSS feeds) when there are alerts, recalls and safety information about drugs and medical devices.
Although the HealthUnlocked Thyroid UK forum usually sees posts about issues with thyroid-related medicines, you might be taking other medicines which no-one thinks to post.
