The parathyroid glands are physically located by the thyroid gland but seem to have little other connection to thyroid disorder.
However, it has been far too common for parathyroid glands to be damaged by treatment for thyroid disorders - for example by surgery or due to radioactive iodine. Therefore parathyroid issues do get raised.

There is also the website of a USA parathyroid specialist in Florida, USA. However, there has been some criticism that being commercial might have some influence on their judgment. However, it is a large and very detailed site.
They also offer a phone/tablet app - Calcium Pro - available for both Android and Apple. It appears to work on macOS as well.
