Vitamin B12 is frequently low in thyroid patients.
However, it is a complex subject and it is likely better to go directly to specific B12 information sources than for thyroid sources to attempt to replicate what is available.

One cause of low B12 is a disorder called Pernicious Anaemia in which it is impossible to absorb sufficient B12 from the digestive system. One good forum for this is the Pernicious Anaemia Society forum on HealthUnlocked.
While they are focussed on Pernicious Anaemia, the forum regularly has discussions about other forms of B12 deficiency, treatment, testing, etc.

helvella's Links and References document contains many links to other organisations
A single document containing numerous links to relevant websites. With a focus on the UK it nonetheless includes many non-UK sites.
Rather than a simple list of links, there is a page (or more) per site. This is intended to provide some flavour of the site before you decide whether to visit.

Two parts of NICE also directly cover B12. One is a Clinical Knowledge Summary, the other a full formal guideline (currently still in development). The two sometimes are in conflict over recommendations.
