A document listing many, hopefully most, of the abbreviations and acronyms that you will come across when trying to read about thyroid issues.
Inevitably, this will have lots missing so please let me know if there is anything which should be added.
The document starts with a Table of Contents. You can click on (or touch, on touch screens) any page number.
Items that are very much based on Latin are in purple - but the boundary between ordinary and medical/technical Englosh and Latin is sometimes not obvious and rigid.
You can return to the Table of Contents by clicking on the ⇧, or ⇩ to go to the end - which are in the footer of every page along with links to Abbreviations/Acronyms
The rest of the document is simply a series of definitions/explanations in alphanumeric order. This is a long document - over seventy pages at present.
